stipple. Terms of Use

Effective date: October 14, 2026 Developer: Nicolescu Cristian ("we", "us") Contact: support@stipple.eu

These terms cover your use of the stipple. app and the stipple. Pro subscription. By installing or using stipple., you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins for the license itself.

1. The app

stipple. turns your walks, photo locations, workouts and imported location history into a map of the places you've been. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

2. Your data

Your data stays on your device. How the app handles it is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping backups. We can't recover data that was deleted, lost with a device, or never backed up, because we hold no copy of it.

3. stipple. Pro

Most of stipple. is free. stipple. Pro unlocks extra features, which the app lists before you buy.

4. Third-party services and data

Street maps come from Apple Maps (iOS) and OpenFreeMap with OpenStreetMap data (Android). Boundary maps come from Natural Earth, geoBoundaries and the U.S. Census Bureau. Their attributions are in Settings → Map data & licenses. Maps and borders are shown for reference only and say nothing about any territorial dispute.

Location, distances and places are estimates. Don't rely on stipple. for navigation, safety or any decision where accuracy matters.

5. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those that can't be excluded, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for stipple. Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited.

6. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app. You can stop using stipple. at any time by deleting it. Cancel any subscription separately in your store account.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where we are established, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
